*NE-CAT's executive committee member Thomas Steitz shares 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry*

The Nobel Assembly at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden announced today that Thomas Steitz is one of three winners of the 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work describing the structure and function of the ribosome. Thomas Steitz is a member of NE-CAT's executive committee and a frequent user of NE-CAT beamlines.
